Last week, we sat down with our Senior Quantity Surveyor Gareth Osborne, to talk about his recent trip to Vietnam on behalf of utecture.
After sharing his highest praise for Vietnamese cuisine, all the wonderful new things he saw, and telling us of the lovely people he had encountered along the way, we got to talking on the real topic – why is utecture visiting Vietnam?
Recently, utecture has introduced some exciting new customers to our business that require use of our quantifying tool. To deliver this service to our customers at the highest quality, we’ve partnered with Ezequote.
Established in 2002, Ezequote delivers accurate and comprehensive estimations for the construction industry. As the business has grown, they have now established 3 national offices in their home country Australia, alongside 5 international offices.
Travelling to Dilat, 45 minutes from Ho Chi Minh, Gareth met with Ezequote Vietnam’s owners Dave and Jenny who showed him through their six-story office building that houses a team of 400 quantity surveyors. He got to work with some of Ezequote’s top quantity surveyors in their Vietnam office, walking them through utecture’s software.
They were blown away with utecture’s capability and claimed that the software was above and beyond what they had imagined – a big win for us.
Overall, Gareth signed off by saying that he built some amazing connections on both a personal and professional level, establishing a friendship with owner Dan, attending their once monthly social staff dinner, and eating snails with the QS team – it's safe to say he’s looking forward to his next visit.
